We Have to Leave Them Here

I heard that there were kennels Calgary has around that can watch our two puppies as we go off to vacation. I hate leaving my dogs around just anywhere, but my husband could care less. I figured that I wanted them to have a nice place to hang out. Since we are going to be gone for a week, I suppose that I just want to make sure that I can give them the best time of their lives too. I want to make sure that they are happy and comfortable. I wish that I could take them with me, but my husband said that that would be ridiculous. Besides, the hotels that we want are not really accommodating to pets. I hope that we do plan on finding pet-friendly hotels one of these days. I suppose that I just want to make sure that we do whatever we can in order to make the dogs happy too.

We're Looking at Horses

We are looking at horses for sale. We want to start riding together again. We had to give a lot of things up awhile ago. I am not proud of our previous living situations, but I guess that I just kind of feel okay about it all now. There is really nothing in life that I can deny myself now that I can afford it all. I am quite happy! I know that some people might not be interested in owning a horse, but it is part of my life. This is definitely a new beginning for me, and I am quite excited. Sometimes, I just feel like I have to let the past be the past! I know that some people might not enjoy the things that I enjoy. They say that I should grow up and not want a horse anymore, but I don’t think that we should lose our enthusiasm for life just because we’re older.
